Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT, Greater Noida) had an approved Incubation Centre under the Incubation Scheme of DC-MSME 2020 (Development Commissioner (MSME), Ministry of MSME -The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises India). Total 371 Business/Industrial Incubation Centres (including many National Institute of Technology-NITs and Indian Institute of Technology-IITs) have been approved all across the India in the year 2020. In February 2020, many students/researchers have submitted their projects through our institute (Host Institute/Business Incubator) in the fields related to ICT, IT, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Management, Mechanical Engineering etc. Our Incubation centre is also planning to develop proposals related to Biomedical Engineering and Devices. Proposal details of idea of Incubatee submitted to MSME by our Host Institute(GNIOT Institute) (HI) / Business Incubator (BI) during February 2020 are vide Reference Numbers IDEAUP001948, IDEAUP001954, IDEAUP001966, and IDEAUP002562.

Objectives of BI-GNIOT

• Enterprise and entrepreneurship development.
• Creation of start-up in thrust areas through innovation and support for IPR, licensing, training and other related requirements.
• To support and to nurture indigenous technology thereby grooming entrepreneurs to run their enterprise successfully.
• Dissemination of knowledge and technology through meets, conferences and training for conducive growth.
• Provide R&D for industry to enable small/medium industries, to take up R&D activities and technology up -gradation.
• Assistance and consultancy to SMEs located in the region by way of specialized services.
• Technology commercialization.
• Foster institution-institution and industry-institution linkages in the region.
• To train unemployed youth for wage employment.
