Department of Computer Applications (DCA)
The Department of Computer Applications (DCA) aims to be a Centre of Excellence in delivering quality
education and consultation in the field of Computer Applications, with the goal of producing globally
competent, self-disciplined, and industry-ready professionals. As a dynamic and forward-thinking academic
unit, the department is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and industry engagement, preparing
students to meet the evolving challenges of the tech-driven world.
The program emphasizes a strong theoretical foundation combined with practical, application-oriented
learning in areas relevant to modern computer applications. Through seminars, mini-projects, and major
projects, students demonstrate their skills and understanding, gaining hands-on experience in software
development, computer science, and IT solutions, all of which contribute to their holistic development as
future-ready technology professionals.
