About the Club:

Established in 2025 by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science), the GNIOT CSE-DS Tech Club is a premier student-led initiative dedicated to advancing expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The club serves as a dynamic ecosystem for innovation, bridging the gap between academic theory and industry application through a diverse portfolio of activities, ranging from high-impact hackathons and coding competitions to integrated technical and non-technical Book Fests. By fostering a culture of peer learning and professional mentorship, the club empowers students to master emerging technologies while cultivating the leadership, creativity, and communication skills essential for the global technology landscape.

Selection Procedure

• Expression of Interest (EOI): Candidates submit a formal application via the departmental portal, outlining their motivation and foundational interest in Data Science Technical Club.
• Eligibility Screening: Applications are evaluated based on academic standing, programming logic (e.g., Python, SQL), and demonstrated potential for technical leadership.
• Technical Interview: Shortlisted students undergo a professional assessment by faculty mentors and club officers to gauge their problem-solving skills and alignment with club goals.
• Final Selection & Onboarding: The committee performs a holistic review of all candidates, followed by official membership notification and integration into specialized technical wings.
