The primary focus of the department is to empower our students with overall development and make them industry ready.

Established in the year 2022, The Department of AI&DS has been growing in all dimensions. The department strongly adheres to augmenting the quality of technical education and making it more appropriate to the present requirements. The department has excellent and diverse faculty with research and education expertise in the traditional and emerging computer science and engineering fields. Taking academics on priority, the department facilitates a conducive environment of learning for the students to learn the knack of continuous knowledge and lifelong learning.

The pedagogy used in the teaching-learning process is delivered in such a manner that what you learn in the classroom is applied in the workplace, and in the labs which in turn gives you a deeper understanding. Students’ learning can be tested through the policies of Examination and assessments as prescribed by the affiliated University Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Students are given the environment to excel in their competitive Coding skills through various societies and competitions. Students are active learners of various coding platforms like CodeChef, Codeforces, LeetCode, InterviewBit, GeeksforGeeks, etc. Huge numbers of students do take part in reputed Coding competitions across the globe such as ACM ICPC, Google Code Jam, Google Kick Start, Hack with Infy, TCS Codevita, Hackathon, etc.

For bridging the gap between Industry-Academia, the AI&DS Department offers technical training for their development and gradation in technical skills. For the personal grooming of students, personality development classes are provided. Guest Lectures, Workshops, and National/International Conferences are organized to provide a learning environment for the students. For interaction with the outside world, students are allowed to participate in various inter-college competitions, Project Exhibitions, Technical, Cultural, Sports Fests, etc., organized at different institutions & Universities.

There is an environment of self-learning under which various Industry Readiness Certification Courses are provided in the areas of Technical, Professional, and Industrial through the Industry Readiness and Entrepreneurship Development Program in association with the Institute of Industrial Development (IID).
