Code Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Graduates of the B.Tech. program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science will be able to:
PEO1 Core Competency: Develop a strong foundation in mathematics, computing, artificial intelligence, data science, and allied engineering fields to analyze, design, and implement intelligent systems.
PEO2 Professional Growth: Pursue successful careers in industry, academia, research, or entrepreneurship by applying problem-solving skills, innovative thinking, and adaptability to emerging technologies.
PEO3 Lifelong Learning: Engage in continuous professional development, higher education, and research to keep pace with rapidly evolving AI and data-driven technologies.
PEO4 Social Responsibility: Apply AI and data science solutions ethically and responsibly to address societal, environmental, and global challenges.
Code Program Outcomes (POs)
PO1Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex computer engineering problems.
PO2Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex computer engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex computer engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specific needs with appropriate considerations for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide conclusions.
PO5Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent relevant to the professional engineering practices.
PO7Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
PO8Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics, responsibilities, and norm of the engineering practices.

PSO1 Intelligent Systems and Data Analytics: Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions including machine learning models, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing systems. Utilize statistical, computational, and visualization techniques to analyze complex datasets, extract actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
PSO2 Research, Innovation, and Ethical AI: Demonstrate the ability to innovate and conduct research to develop novel AI applications while addressing ethical, legal, and societal considerations to ensure responsible and sustainable AI deployment.
